Practice (= the “P” word) till your fingers bleed is my tip. Well not really but at least an hour a day.

For FREE lessons go to http://justinguitar.com/ is my first choice.

Fan stuff, here’s a link to some of Keith Richards guitars and tunings he uses with them http://members.tripod.com/blue_lena/guitar2.html

Tuners: I’ve been using the Deluxe version of this tuner on my PC and laptop http://www.petersontuners.com/strobosoft I’m to cheap to buy a hardware one but having it on my laptop makes it just as portable.

I’m sure Soul has a few fan links and tips too. There are a few others here that might have some tips and links also.

oh ya i’m a lefty guitar player that uses left handed guitars.

I post alot of my scary endevours for others to suffer, if they choose, in the Chatbox … is Prolly one a the reasons why Dean started this post … to get my stuff outta there

And yup, my typing suffers even worse because of that “P” word… but it don’t happen without it …

Justin on live Friday at what time Bob?

OH and anyone that knows shortcuts from 4 finger chords to 3 … I could really use some tips there… I only have 3 usable fingers on my frethand… the pinky has very limited use due to injury as a kid.

My guitar influences are mainly from the early 60’s surf, and rockabilly… I prefer instrumental bands

Justin is kind of goofy but hey his site is free and runs by donations only. I’ve learned a lot from his site and i’m sure everyone will find something useful there http://justinguitar.com/

I can play “basic” Guitar but because of the spinal injury it is actually easier for me to play Violin. My wife plays guitar, she has a 1969 Sunburst Green Fender StratoCaster. It is in like new condition and is worth a fortune. I also have a 5 string bass that I can play, as I don’t have to do chords, and a Fender Rhodes Keyboard. My son plays Violin with me. I started Violin when my son did about 1 and a half years ago and for some reason, it seems easy to me. If you ever wanted to play Violin, get one and start, that goes for any instrument. You can’t go wrong playing an instrument, even if your not that good at it, it still is a lot of fun.

Being a Metalhead, I could naturally mention loads of ace guitarists…but…well…I suppose a Bass is a guitar as well LOL. Therefore I must mention Steve DiGiorgio’s outstanding ”fretless” skills.

As a fan, of cause.

Just to spread the pepto sales  … here’s one I did when I first started a few months back now
