I thought that Alcohol couldn’t copy SecuROM, but only emulate. But i’m not sure, since i don’t have a cd to check.

i believe the lastest version of Alcohol does indeed copy the current version of SecurROM. i believe they mentioned that yesterday

I think it depends on the hardware for the copy. but blindwrite supports more hardware at this time.

Alcohol can only copy the latest securom games when used together with blindwrite’s bwa tool and blackcheck’s twinpeak tool. It can, however, emulate them without external assistance.

Funny to see that part of the Tagès technologie has been used to fuck suck-u-rom, and to see sony+jowood pretending they’re building a new standart from old marmalade :slight_smile:
