Doubtful consumers are willing to pay much higher prices. Demand will slacken off as prices rise and there will be a balance again. Japan will need to get their economy back on track and that ends up meaning that they will have to undercut China on prices, not make products more expensive.
While I think you may be right about the prices dropping.
I think most people will be more worried[ especially here in
california] about the radiation pollutting the pacific,and the
skies over the near by countries.
