Hi guys!

I did it yesterday but I haven't recorded any CD-R yet.
Any suggestions to write a CD-R at 40x ?

I have DMA enabled an I have installed Nero 5.5.9.0 and Clone CD 4.0.1.9.

Do you think TDK 32x certified media will allow 40x writing?

Do you recommend me to upgrade my CD-RW to a LTR-48125W?

How much time recording difference there is between LTR40125W and LTR48125W?

Very thanx!

TDK 32x certified media (made by TDK) can be recorded at 48x.

There is some difference between 40x and 48x, due to the higher initial speed. But of couse, only some seconds. That is just for fun.
Install VS02 firmware.

I’d recommend you VS06,I think it’s the best one.

That depends on who made the TDK medai. There is some that can be burned at 40x and some that should only be burned at 24x. For the most part, you should stick to the speed that the media is rated for, and ignor the SmartBurn recommended speed.
