Ivalid Block Adress On LG SGA-4165B DL04

I have a LG SGA-4165B, i get invalid block adress errors when i try to burn DVD, but burning cd it works fine, Im using nero 6.6.0.16 and below is the log that i got. I hope somebody could help me :confused: :confused:

There is your problem. This drive is picky about media, and you are feeding it Optodisc DVDs. It is not really bad media, but it is not known for high quality either. It is not well supported because drive manufacturers don’t spend much effort on its burn strategies.

4165/4167 (and just about any other drive) works well with Mitsubishi media. If you can find Mitsubishi- or Verbatim-branded media, it should solve the problem. Short of that, try any other DVD media.

If you would prefer a drive that burns any round flat object of 120 mm diameter without complaining, try a BenQ drive such as DW1620 or 1640 :slight_smile:

My LG’s prefer Taiyo Yuden media. Most drives do. Verbatim is a good second choice.
