ISO image

Hi - I’m new at this task and am trying to create an ISO image using Nero 8. Has anyone done this or do you know the steps involved? Thanks

Welcome to the forum

Steps are not really complicated. Simply run nero, select all files you want put in the ISO image, and then select the hard disk as target instead of the burner. This will save the image file. Be careful to select ISO in the save dialog window, because the default format in nero is .NRG

I stopped using Nero at version 7, so can’t answer your question directly, but it is a very simple thing to do with ImgBurn. ImgBurn is free to download and use. When you first start it, you will be given the option to make an image file from a disk or an image file from files found on the hard drive.

By the way, it cannot make an image file of an encrypted disk. You have to decrypt those and rip to the hard drive first.

Edit: Too late! But now you have two ways to do this.
