I am using clone DVD and I chose my output to be an ISO image to fit on a 4.7 gb diskThe iso is created fine (where it is compressed down to 85%) but when I try to burn the iso to a dvd-r says too large.
basically when I try to burn with Roxio says file is 62MB to big for the DVDR
What dvd is it that your trying to fit onto the dvd5 media?? What version of CloneDVD do you have and what kinda media are you using??? Are you sure the blank media is of a good quality??? If you didn't notice you kinda answered your question in a way. ISO is almost the exact same size of the original and needs a media of matching size or bigger. Why don't you rather then going to ISO just copy to HDD and then burn right away to the burner that way it will copy and burn all the while compressing it to fit on a dvd5 media. When I use CloneDVD - I just copy to temp folder on HDD and then burn right away to blank media with the compress feature turned on.
I am using CLone DVd 22.214.171.124
it lets me compress it down to fit thus the quality getting downgraded to 83% I am just wondering why it would be 60 mb too big?
I don't know what version of clonedvd your talking about but this forum is from the CloneDVD from Slysoft...not some other company saying they are slysoft. If you paid for it you got dealt a raw deal...that isn't the software from slysoft. Their version of CloneDVD is 126.96.36.199 not 188.8.131.52.....
This sub-forum is for the Slysoft Version of CloneDVD2, not the program you are referring to. I will move this thread to the main Copy Movie Forum, maybe you can get some help there. Welcome to CDFreaks Forums.
thanks my bad...........
