I don’t play these games. Sure, if you buy as few as 500 discs from meritline.com, they will be as low as 37 cents.

Or you could get 8x media from Circuit City for 32 cents a disc.

I would NEVER buy the house brand. There are too many specials out there right now on 8x Verbatim DVD+R to even think about dealing with some low quality manufacturer. Amazon.com currently has the following special on Verbatim 8x DVD+R which is a little bit cheaper and you won’t have to order more than 100 discs to get them at 35 cents a disc.

Oh, are they free shipping ? meritline is free shipping.

Yup, they are free shipping from amazon.com. Also we are comparing MCC003 dye which has been confirmed time and time again on the Verbatim 8x DVD+R discs to heaven’s knows what manufacturer Meritline has chosen for it’s house brand. MCC003 is one of the best dyes out there and Meritine’s own label is “budget” media so they will most likely grab the cheapest manufacturer out there. Disc quality makes a HUGE difference when it comes to your results with burning DVDs, so why bother half-assing it with a questionable manufacturer when you can have one of the best for less?
