I want to burn my movies that are in wmv or any other media formats, onto a dvd disc that I can play on my dvd player.
I looked everywhere on the site, but cant seem to find a guide on doing so. Does anyone know a great tutorial on this?

If they are .wmv you’ll probably have to convert to dvd-video format to be compatible on dvd players. You can use DVDFlick for this conversion and burn to disk using any number of burning programs…I use ImgBurn.

http://www.dvdflick.net/index.php There is a downloadable guide at the DVDFlick forum.
The guides for ImgBurn are here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4

Another tool for conversion is FAVC. I prefer it to DVDFlick, but that is a matter of taste. http://favcfavc.googlepages.com/
Here is the guide for it: http://www.digital-digest.com/software/favc.html

Well there are programs that convert but the most I think most recommend although it’s a paid program. I don’t know about the tutorial part but look over at their site they might have some help for you.

Give this a lookover as this from me works very good on coverting more then compared to winavi-which gave me headaches when it wouldn’t covert a movies that it would convert previously.

I would also recommend FAVC, IMO, it creates a higher quality output than CX2DVD,and I’ve used both… JMHO!..try them all including DVDFlick and see which best suits your “taste”…Good luck!.
