to 2x. My Ihas624 only writes them at 4x and that is too fast for my gamecube.

Also this media should also be on 2x instead of 4x

Where did you get that firmware file? And are you sure it is the correct one for your drive?

You might be able to edit this with MediaCodeSpeedEdit (MCSE). It’s one of the last drives to be supported by the software, but I cannot guarantee it will work. (The author no longer works on the software). http://club.myce.com/f61/mediacodespeededit-tool-dvd-writers-114269/

You may not be able to assign either one to 2x. 4x may be the lowest you can go. Which…may mean you have to find other discs.
