I HAVE DONE LOADS OF DVDS WITH DVD2ONE …CANT FAULT IT!
BUT JUST WONDERED …I HAVE NOTICED THAT FILMS OVER 7.6 GB WONT WORK WHEN I TRY DUMP THEM INTO PRASSI OR NERO (NOT THAT I WOULD USE NERO FOR COMPATABILITY REASONS) IT SAYS ITS TOO BIG TO FIT ON DVD-R EVEN WHEN ENCODED TO 4460GB IN DVD2ONE, IF I GO TO THE FOLDER WHER I HAVE ENCODED TO AND RIGHT CLICK THEN PROPERTIES THE FILE IS 4460GB BUT STILL CANT BURN
ANY HELP WOULD BE COOL
Try setting the output size to 4444mb, this works all the time and leaves a bit of a margin, when Dvd20ne’s estimate, is a little out.
BTW the latest version of Nero works fine, the DVD Compliancy issues have now been solved.
he m8 as you posted the size 4460 in properties of VIDEO_TS folder
what do you mean by 4460
this: 4,36 GB (4.689.557.504 bytes) ?
if its the same as this or lower then there should be np on burning the movie
i use 4472 on Movie Only and user defined 4452 on Full Disc w/o prob
ReneB recommends 4444mb because, as he explained, dvd20ne does an initial estimate of the output size and sometimes this can be a bit off target and the output can be too large.
By using 4444mb, this leaves a little margin for error and avoids having to reprocess the files.
