Is PX-716A better, equal to, or worse than PX-712A?

For those who has the chance to try both PX-716A and PX-712A, is PX-716A better, equal to, or worse than PX-712A? Assuming that both are used to burn DVD only at a maximum speed of 12X, and DVD-DL burning not tested. (Same level comparison) I am more curious on the aspect of quality of media produced, not so much about speed.

Thanks.
