i dont do extras (waste of time trying to debug problems; plus i dont have time to watch extras anyway). if i want to do movie only, any benefit in upgrading (other than feeling good)? is 1.1.0 quality better than 1.0.2?

Yes quality improvements have been made see the sticky…

Why not upgrade, it’s free if you’re a registered user

(and the new engine features are also implanted in the movie only part)

in a number of cases, an upgrade need not be better. Nero is a gr8 example.

dvd2one 1.0.1 has been working gr8 for me. as i dont care for extras, my view has been “dont fix something that aint broken”. if the compression has been improved, i will upgrade.

ok. i just upgraded. tried 1 movie: Pelican Brief. It is on both sides. Used Derrow method to make a 7GB file set. Processed using DVD2One. The progress bar is inaccurate. said that it will take 67 min to complete (generally it takes only 20 min for a movie) but stopped at 39% and started Copy2DVD. The CD burned was fine (had the whole movie) but DVD2One says that it succeeded with progress indicator showing 39%!!!
