Is it possible to make a 1:1 copy of safedisc 4.6 and securom 7 cd’s with out emulation and all that crap?
Is it possible???
In a nutshell : yes for CDs, but such backups will not work everywhere ; no for DVDs.
Concerning Safedisc protected CDs, a backup made with alcohol using the safedisc profiles can be considered as the closest thing to a 1:1 backup, but since SD3.15 it will depend on which burner was used to make the copy and will only run in the most tolerant drives, like liteon DVD-ROMs.
Concerning Securom 7, since the plextor premium way that made perfect backups up to v5.03.13 no longer works with v7, you can use twinpeaks but such backups may not work in some drives (like Plextors).
I hope this answered your question.
