Hi, I really want to buy this drive, as it fulfills my requiremeant, such as lightscribe, portable, slim, trudirect(or similiar), powered by USB.
However, I have read system requirments are P4 2.0GHz, can anyone confirm if this is correct? as my spec is: Intel Pentium Dual Core SU4100 Processor, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium.
If not compatible, can anyone suggest the best drive for my requirments above?

there is one disadvantage with external slim drives that are USB powered: They draw much more power than an USB port must offer by spec (500 mA if requested). So such a drive must not necessarily work. Some computer manufacturers technically allow such a heavy overload, some others not.
As for the system requirements stated on the box. These are applicable to the software enclosed. Well, an ancient Intel PIV is probably less powerful than most modern CPUs. And the CPU freq is absolutely not helpful to judge about the power of a given CPU. Comparable to the RPM figure for a motor
