Is Intellectual Property the Key to Success?

One of the greatest tragedies of intellectual property law is how it generates intellectual confusion among successful businesspeople. Many are under the impression, even when it is not true, that they owe their wealth to copyrights, trademarks, and patents and not necessarily to their business savvy.

Aye …

:iagree: More innovation if IP copyrights did not exist & companies would spend less money fighting like cats & dogs in courtrooms.

Owning a copyright to something, and then sitting on it isn’t how you make lots of money. Other companies (once they know how you did this something) will just find an eerily similar way to do it & bypass your copyright, make oodles of cash and leave you in the dustpile with your empty patent. All it does is slow everything down.
