Has anyone heard of a protection called ActiveM? If so what is it?
active mark is a “protection” developed by trymedia.
its usually used in downloadable games (i.e. Civilization 4, Serious Sam 2)where u can register to unlock the full version and disable the timechecks etc… this protection doesn´t include any cd/dvd copy protection.
it´s a licensing product.
I didn’t know it was used for downloadable games. I always thought that games that are purchased for download don’t have any protection.
Thanks for the info.
how naive is that ? (no offence)
and what ? then what’s to stop them from redistributing it an unlimited amount of times ?
