I bought an original ihp-120. It was cheaper than the ipod, has radio, remote, optical in/out and a microphone. With rockbox it has more functionality than most devices available today, and I am still using it. Too bad they moved away from the high end devices and to mid/low flash based. The nicest one available now (IMO) is the Archos 605 Wifi, although it is too bulky for general use.
