Iphone is a great technology coupled to 19th century AT&T. Therefore, when my contract runs out in January I will not renew with AT&T. Found a Blackberry Storm and excellent phone service from Verizon…I would prefer that AT&T drop the iPhone. Let Apple add in a CDMA card (like the Storm has a GSM card) and the iPhone would remain viable as a workable pda. Unfortunately, I fear Apple will lose customers as a result of its inability or refusal to change the contract with AT&T. In eruope at the moment the free market spirit is selling a lot of iPhones through 3 or 4 cell vendors…So, good luck Apple! Good riddance AT&T.

I think the heading of this article should be -->

“AT&T possibly hurting iPhone”

AT&T has never properly managed their network to handle any reasonable QoS for anything other than voice… the rest of their data service pretty much sucks… AT&T has been rolling in the dough sitting fat and happy without doing a damn thing… $20million? they need to spend more like $200million…
