They couldn’t have done microSD?

Wow so people are going to carry around this thing? Why can’t apple just have some common sense and include a feature that every other phone does.

Yeah, it’s all about “lock in” and consumer control. That’s why Apple doesn’t support a memory card slot, Adobe Flash or standard USB. They want to tightly control anything and everything, including all your app/media/other purchases related to their devices. Lame!

Hmm… sounds like another company I know. Who could it be?

Yeah apple is very well known for lock ins… Even Windows/MS products tend to be less locked in…

Apple doesn’t support Flash because its a battery draining resource hog. They are promoting open standard such HTML 5 which makes Flash irrelevant.

Its Adobe who are locking you in to a crappy proprietary format. We should all thank Apple for making the significant push to do away with Flash.

You’re right, ivid. You’re definitely not an Apple fanboy.

But at the same time its very stupid to not included a feature used on most websites. Pushing people to move to HTML5 and not including highly used program are 2 different things.

I think apple just has something to fight with Adobe over because of all the graphical editing etc that apple emphasizes there company on.
