In a last-minute press conference held Friday, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that the widely-reported antenna design issues had “been blown so out of proportion that it's incredible,” and instead offered free cases or full refunds to unhappy customers.

A nearly 2% return rate is actually pretty high. Many tech companies would go under with a return rate that high.

It’s good to see Apple finally addressing the issue, although Steve Jobs’ superiority complex is still highly annoying.

That because most Tech suppliers have a warrantee. If IBM or HP had a 2% return rate on their servers alot of people would not have a job the next day.:iagree:

The Apple faithful will always buy their products so anything they say is fine by them it seems.
I don’t like the whole attitude they try to sell with their products, I don’t like what Microsoft does all the time either but at least the stuff I have works and I can add and tweak things to make it better, plus most of their prices aren’t jacked all out of proportion for what you get.

I’m glad I didn’t jump on the iPhone 4 boat . . . I still have my old 3G. I’m seriously considering jumping from AT&T to Verizon and looking at a Droid X.
