Hi All,

Have not had this problem before.

After the cashing, when the burning starts it gives me the errors:

invaild write state / illegal disc

  • and so on.

Code 0x30 / Qual 0x00 is “Incompatible medium installed”. It seems as if your CD-RW drive is saying that it doesn’t like the media. Have you got some alternative media you can try (even if it’s CD-RW as opposed to CD-R)?

An alternative explanation would be the plethora of software on your machine. Looking at the pile of drivers at the end of the log, you’ve got at minimum a Roxio/Adaptec writing package installed as well as Nero. These two don’t necessarily sit well together. You could try removing the Roxio/Adaptec package (especially DirectCD or Drag to Disk if you have those installed) as well as possibly all other writing software you have installed. If things still don’t work, try the latest Nero 6.3.1.6.
