Intel and Micron today announced they will stop working together on the production of 3D Xpoint memory after the second half of 2019. Until then, both companies will continue to work together on the development of the second generation of 3D Xpoint technology.

Must be China putting pressure on the Trade Tariffs to show whom got the pants.

Is it possible that the performance of the 3D Xpoint technology was not as expected? Seems odd that Intel and Micron are parting ways on 3D memory development.
