Using the mighty SandForce SF-2281 SSD processor and a custom firmware. Will this new SSD have the grunt to take on the OCZ Vertex 3?

Let’s find out in this review.

Nice review but I really can’t get interested in SSD’s until the prices come down substantially. Speeds seems to provide diminishing returns as you hit a few odd seconds here and there. ANY SSD is better speedwise than an HDD right now.

The prices on the 240gb SSDs have come down to near 1.25USD a gb. I just bought a new Sandisc Extreme 240gb ( Toggle nand) for 294.00 delivered to my house at Amazon.

I really think that the Intel SSDs are a bit overpriced but they come with such a great warrantee, its worth it.
