This is for the infamous 'Code 41 issue. I researched on Google and read through many of these forums just to let you know. This occurs in both actual DVD drives and virtual ones (Daemon Tools, MagicISO). The BIOS sees the DVD burner, Windows sees it and reports ‘Code 41’. I just noticed the installation says ‘Plextor DVDR PX-716A SCSI’ on it now. It’s an IDE drive, I have no SCSI hardware, never have. Well, I just heard about ‘Filter Driver Load Order’. Here are my posts from the Plextor drive, are there any problems? Also, are there any I can remove? I don’t use Nero anymore, just Daemon Tools or MagicISO.
