"Incorrect Disc c105 : ERROR"

vbimport

#1

I have been burning movies to DVD-R with varied success. I use the same media on the same burner (Light-On). After burning I test the movie in my dvd player (it is a player/recorder). Sometimes I get an error when I put in the disc ( Incorrect Disc C105). I burn the movie in the exact same way every time. I use DVD-Decrypter and DVD-Shrink the burn with Nero.

It is frustrating to have it work sometimes and not others. Obviously my Player supports the media and the burn process works (at least some of the time). The ones that do not work in the player still work in my PC, so I am totally baffled.

Any help?

Mike

Posting the Nero burn log could help.

====== *** Nero Burning ROM, History File *** ======

I created an image (.iso) of the disc before burning. I mounted the image using Alcohol and played the video with VLC. Burning the ISO failed.

Any ideas? I have wasted several dvd’s trying to burn. I don’t understand why some ISO’s will burn fine while others do not if the process is the same.

I can mount the ISO and play the movie on the computer using VLC, but when I burn and play in DVD player, I get Incorrect Disc C105 error.

Mike

PS: Just a crazy thought, could it be PAL vs. NTSC iussue? How would I check if so?
