As you can see below in my signature I too only use Taiyo-Yuden and a very selected Verbatim D/L (Singapore), your setting “recommended” for the write spped should not be used because it will burn the disc at the max speed of the drive and not the max rated speed of the disc, even though it works on most disc it can be a hit & miss at times even with Taiyo-Yuden.
If you are really in that much of a hurry set the write speed manually to the max rated speed of the disc, I myself always burn at 8x BTW…I like “My Man Godfrey” is one of my favorite movies
Just a heads up… on those older flicks you’ll find PathPlayer is not always needed and has been known to cause read issues during the opening of the disc so if you ever have an issue during the analyzing process go into common settings-> PathPlayer and disable it
