Incompatibla CD-R and drive

Hi all,
I have a MITSUMI CR-48XATE (cd-r drive) and I have made a lot of fancy coasters with it: does anyone know what brand of CD-R’s are most compatible with this drive?

Thanx,
Pepe Lapiu

What is your O/S?
What burning software are you using?
DMA ok?
ASPI?

Give us some more info, sounds like it could be a software issue, not hardware.

Is the drive recognized in BIOS, and in Windows?

You wanted more info, well there you have it … 8^)
The following is the error report from my last data burning attempt, enjoy trying to make sense of it because I sure can’t.

I have recently started to have problems with this drive and have recently installed a new motherboard and processor - could this be my problem? if so what is the best way to solve it. I have tried uninstall/reinstall
