Nero InCd is a cd/dvd packet writing program, like Roxio's DirectCd / DragtoDisk program. It allows you to use a cd or a dvd much as you would a giant floppy. You have drive letter access so that it appears to be just another removable drive. If you use a rewritable disc you will be able to recover the space on the disc as you delete the written files. You can treat the drive just as any other. This avoids the authoring that is involved when you use a program such as Nero because you must commit, in advance all the files that you want to copy to a cd or dvd. You may need a reader, free from Nero's website, to read the disc on a system without InCd installed. New MS OS's should read it without the reader. A word of caution, if you have ever had Roxio's software installed you will need to take special measures to make it run, since Roxio's program doesn't completely uninstall, and thus keeps InCd from properly running.
