InCD (3.28.0) and Win XP

Having set Windows XP's IMAPI CD-Burning Service to "disabled" first in order to stop the integrated Roxio CD software interfering, I've just installed Nero 5.5/InCD.

However, after formatting a CD with InCD I get the error message:

"Error code 0051-0005-0063-0000
Illegal request error"

And when I try to write to a CDRW I get the message:

"Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."

Can anyone shed any light on what has gone wrong?

Very grateful for any help ....

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, you did use a CDRW (and not CDR) disc, didn’t you?

Thanks for your reply rmunde. Unfortunately! I did use a CDRW disk.
