Imported .avi 1/5 Origional Size

I just imported a 206 MB .avi and nero shows it being only 40 MB. That is with the custom bit per whatever setting up all the way at 2500 (super-video CD).

What is going on here? I ran into the same thing when I imported the file to Adobe EncoreDVD.

How many minutes long is your avi? If you are making a SVCD, a 700mb CD will only hold about 30 minutes of video.

There are two files, one is 7 minutes long and the other is 3 minutes long.

What happens when you try to make the SVCD, is the whole clip there?
