Not really a Newbie question, so moved to the ImgBurn section of CD Freaks.

#3

The drive is returning the ‘No Seek Complete’ error, meaning (assuming the disc is clean / not scratched) it doesn’t like the discs very much.

Get some other DVD+RW or use some decent ‘write once’ media (i.e. DVD+R, DVD-R) instead.

#4

last question…i don’t need any updates for my firmware?is it okey?

#5

ImgBurn wise, no.

For the drive… maybe.
You’d have to check with whoever makes your laptop.

#6

man what about invalid field in CDB?i’m also having this error message…when i try yo close the disc…

#7

When you’re trying to close it manually?

Not all of the ‘Close’ related commands are meant for all media types - i.e. some should fail.

#8

ok man…thank you very much…i don’t have any problems “for now”…I’m going to post hir if i have some problems…thanks again…

Bumping an old thread here.

I had the same problem with IMGBURN 2.5.2.0.

The problem was fixed after I ejected the tray and then used a compressed air blower to blast air through the inside of the drive. I am guessing this dislodged some dust or something from the lens.

Hopefully this answer will help someone else. Sorry of the thread resurrection.

The problem was never related to Imgburn!
