My question is, could this software serve as a replacement for Nero Burning rom? The name gives me the impression that it is good for burning “only” images. Is this true or can you create a compilation of files to be burned to a CD or DVD as well?

Another update for the best burning software on the net, thank you! And for the most part, yes, this can serve as a replacement for Nero, I haven’t touched Nero since ImgBurn incorporated a BUILD MODE, you may want to try it.

ImgBurn is great, but I still find myself using Nero because I like to make appendable (multisession) DVDs.

At least I think burning files and folders was introduced in this new version. The front menu is a nice touch too.
