You need to use Verbatim DL media with the BenQ DW1650.

#4

Oh right.
Il try using some dl verbatims with my drive and il get back

A friend of mine uses Aone plus dl disks so i thought that they would be ok. But il head out to buy some dl verbatims and will post back.
Thanks guys

#5

You don’t have to use expensive Verbatim media Arita 2.4x (Ritek D01) works perfectly with Benq burners. work fine on the xbox 360 I have something like 30 backups.

#6

ok, il give both the Verbatim and Arita 2.4x and get back
thanks

#7

i have tried the verbatim dl media and they seem to work fine and completes at 100%. I get no errors. Thanks for the help guys:)

#8

I hope you don’t blaim superb ImgBurn for this.
The problem seems to be the media although RICOHJPN-D01 per se has been supported sice the first DW1650 FW release.

Your problem was at the point of layer-break of the disc, this indicating AOne media is not the best media handling this issue. :disagree:
Go for Verbatims or alike, (good Arita worked for ya’).

#9

Oh right, thats good to know that aone arnt too good compared to the verbatim’s. I dident get round to trying the Arita dl media on my drive. But anyway, it looks like i will be sticking to verbatim dl media for now on
