Imation Black 80 mins CDR media

Has anyone been successful in burning this kind of media using LTR 32125w drive? Is it good? is it compatible with consumer CD players and Car stereo? Thanks.

What alexnoe is saying is that Imation is another name for CMC Magnetics. Most people belive that CMC stands for Cheaply Made Crap, which in many cases it is. :slight_smile:

However, I have had no problems using PC-Line branded CMC’s for “everyday use”. I do not trust them if I want to store information for a long time though…

blank black coloured cdrs suck in my opinion. they are just trying to make more money. you cant even tell what the burn looks like either eg. see if the pits are are acuurate and not blured.

anyway, alot of cdwriters have trouble writing to them.
