So I've been reading through these forums in bits and pieces trying to get videos burnt to a dvd. Each problem that I encountered led me to a new section and now I'm just going to start over. I'm just looking for some input on what are the easiest programs/tools to make dvds with. I've downloaded tmpgenc, avi2dvd, dvdshrink, burn4free, avisynth and more. Initially I was just trying to make a vcd in Nero but the avi was too large and then I was trying to compress it, and then convert it, and then Nero wouldn't burn it because it had been converted to mpeg-2, and now I have several different versions of the same file. So I guess what I'm asking is, what is the simplest, most direct way to complete this process. Preferably without buying all of the plug-ins for Nero, but if that's what it is then so be it. Just looking for other people's preferences and what they've had luck with. Thanks!
