I'm kinda stuck with nero 6 & Benq 1625

I have been trying to make a copy of a DVD to no avail. It gets to the end and then gives me an error saying “Burn process failed”. What am I doing wrong? Here is the log:

You’re burning too fast at 16X for an external drive and you’ve installed Nero’s InCD. Also make sure to use good media, like Verbatim.

Welcome to the forums!

Looks like you are using a USB1.0 port. Forget it…you will never successfuly burn anything on USB1.0. You need 2.0 or better FIREWIRE!!!

How do I upgrade to a USB 2.0 port with this dell I have? Any recommendations as to where I can get it.

You can buy a PCI USB2.0 card.

thing is, if the computer is that old, to have usb1 ports im not sure what quality your burns will be.
