iHASx22 8 to iHASx24 B?

I have a iHAS122-04 8 Lite On Drive . I already have a iHAS324 B drive, but I was wondering if it is possible to use the iHAS124 B firmware and then crossflash the iHAS122-04 8 drive.

I have read a few things…
According to these posts all iHASx22 drives are MediaTek chipset.
I know iHASx24 B are all MediaTek Chipset, so if that is true, should we be able to crossflash?

And according to this post someone was able to crossflash.

Remember I have a iHAS122-04 8, not B. So is it possible to go from 8 to B? 122 to 124?

No, it is not possible. The second linked post was still a B-to-B, not an 8-to-B. Each new series has a new model of MediaTek chipset, and do not support crossflashing in that manner.

Thank you, that is exactly what I wanted to know
