IDE Drives Freezing Vista when Media Is Inserted

Rebuilding A HP a1730n, Added 2 Ide Drives, (Lite-On DVDRW SHM-165H6S-Master & Lite-On DVDRom SOHD-16PSV-
Slave)…After booting the system up, I was able to copy CD To Cd and play back…after that every time I put a CD or DVD in either of the drives to just play it, it freezes the computer, to where I have to do a hard start…
Have been searching the forums for 3 days now, and have done all the trouble shooting tips-searched for Filters-none, uninstalled & reinstalled the controllers, switched the IDE plugs on the mother board, turned off the removable media scanner on the antivirus, used a hardware utility to check the drives that said they had no problem with reading, writing, or burning CD/DVD data, music, or movies. (As a matter of fact, everything worked with the utility)…But after rebooting and inserting a CD/DVD, same thing, Freeze with hard reboot…Any help will be greatly appreaciated…Heres some more system info…

It’s kinda normal behaviour.

Make sure the optical drives are running in UDMA4 mode at least!!
Check in BIOS and Devicemanager too.
