Hello,
I need to buy an IDE 80-wire cable for my DVD burner and after browsing through various sites, I am a bit lost.

I personally use the round for airflow improvement-

Several good vendors are www.amazon.com and www.newegg.com and www.cablewholesale.com

As far as length goes - buy only as long as you need - borrow mom-wife-girlfriends cloth tape and do approximate measure - making sure you allow for obsticles and such-eh!!

    Most rounded ones are not, neither are 24" or 36". A cable, which is not standard compliant, might work, but it can also cause trouble.
