I have to know what ‘to give my dues’ means…
Anyone who can help me?

#2

Usually means staying it out at something you hate.

#3

give your dues?
or
pay your dues?

“Paying your dues” refers to “putting in time” or getting more experience at doing a certain task or activity before receiving some type of status or award.

and then of course there are Union dues :stuck_out_tongue:
pay your union dues so that you can continue with union membership.

It is probably somebody asking you to help/pay in return for something they have done for you, normaly in return for something you have allready recived for free, for example your parents could say “pay your dues” asking you to help in return for them caring for you in the past.

usually payback for help you recieved in past or do what is expected of you like pull your weight

Or perhaps also pay the price for mistakes you made in the past.
It reminds me of this one :

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (QUEEN)
I´ve paid my dues, time after time,
I´ve done my sentence but committed no crime.
And bad mistakes, I´ve made a few,
I´ve had my share of sand kicked in my face,
but I´ve come through. And I need to go on and on…
…We are the champions, my friend,
and we´ll keep on fighting till the end…
…No time for losers, ´cause…of the world.
I´ve taken my bows and my curtain calls,
you´ve bought me fame and fortune
and everything that goes with it, I thank you all.
But it´s been no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise,
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
and I ain´t gonna lose…
