I spied some CD-R's

I got all these for a grand total of $13.06 shipped to my door

The Maxells, HI-VAL, Memorex are all Ritek.

The Imation are CMC.

The TDK are TY’s woot!

The Verbatim Super AZO Metal is the interesting one. The One 10 pack
is the AZO Metal Deep Pepsi blue BUT the other 10 pack is Made in Mexico!!

I know Mexico has made Verbatim as I have some 48x but these must be rare,
and they are not the Deep Pepsi blue color. They are Blue but not like the MIT.

Has anyone gotten these before?

I had those TY TDKs and Ritek Maxells. At that time, I think Ritek supplied most of TDK’s CD-Rs, but Taiyo Yuden was also another supplier.

Never heard of Mexican made Verbatim.

Nice, especially the TDKs and the x16 Verbs.

Mexican-made Verb CDRs were pretty common for a brief period a few years back. Quality was not consistent.

Because there was only a photo of some Imations, and they didn’t use the word “lot”, I missed that listing:

That was because for a time CMC Magnetics used to operate a manufacturing plant in Mexico.

And speaking of “Made in Mexico” CD-Rs, some of the packages of the Sony-branded CD-Rs which my local Best Buy store has been receiving are labeled “Made in Mexico” - and they are packaged in cakeboxes which appear to have come from Ritek (albeit with dark grey top spacers).
