I/O Magic 18X Double-Layer DVD Drive With LightScribe - $19.98 - No Rebates - Staples

Item 674375, Model IDVD20DLS

The drive can be either 18x or 20x, and is most likely an LG or a Lite-On.

Of course, if you’re really lucky, you could find an old 16x model sitting on the shelf in-store, and that could be a BenQ DW1655.

sure is a nice price :iagree:

The one I got last year is a Samsung SH-182M. The fan in the case crapped out almost a year to the purchase date so I stuck it in a FireWire case I had. Nice drive. Mine was actually boxed as a 16X.

Can someone help what this statement mean on their page:
“It’s as easy as burn, flip, and burn!”

They are out of stock already. Any chance getting them at their stores?

This Drive is Samsung S182M, I got this for $35 few months ago from Staples also.

I picked up one of these drives at Staples today. It was a Samsung SH-S202N drive. MFD September 2007.

Out of Stock online and there is no Staples In Vegas

Yes, it’s the same price in-store. Go get one. Although the people here are reporting mostly Samsung, other folks have reported getting LGs.

I’m not so sure i would want a Samsung SH-S202N drive.

Must be similar to 202G which (according to scans) is not as good as its SATA brother 203B (or 203N).

A coupon with that many numbers is problably only a one use coupon-depending on the store and cashier _it might work_its a great deal. Good luck.

Yes, 16-digit coupons are one-time use at Staples, BUT, you can use it as a competitor’s coupon at OfficeMax or Office Depot, so print it out on card stock and keep it handy anyway.

The last time I tried to use Staples coupon printed from the internet they would not accept it. They said to many forgeries floating around. Never had a problem with the internet Office Max coupon.

I stopped by Staples today and purchased 2 One was a samsung SH-S182 f/w SBO4 march 07 and the other was a LG GSA-H54l, april 07 and the only thing I could see that might be firmware was Rom ver. 1. Which one should I keep? The other I’ll give away for Christmas.

Thanks, Ivan
