I/o Error

I used to be able to burn dvds just fine. I use dvd shrink and dvd decrypter, then one day I started getting this error
I/O Error!
Device: [3:0:0] HP DVD writer 400c Bh04 (E:)(ATA)
ScsiStatus: 0x02
intrepretation: check condition
CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
intrepretation: write(10)-sectors: 0-31
sense area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 03 04 05
intrepretation; invalid address for write

and sometimes before that error I get this
Device IO control (FSCTL-lock-volume) failed!
device: [3:0:0] HP DVD writer 400Bh04(E:)(ATA)
unable to lock volume for exclusive access
reason: the handle is invalid

Can anyone help me fix this error? I miss burning dvds
I appreciate any advice, I am so sick of this I am ready to try going to a computer repair man to see if he can fix it.

Thanks,

From this thread:

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I can now burn again. It was such a simple fix. All I did was go buy different blank DVDs. I bought maxell brand and gave it a try. It worked like a charm. So anyone else that might be having this problem, just go buy different DVD’s and hopefully it will work for you like it did for me.

Good luck!!
