I have finally bought my drive; now packetloss can stop answering my questions!

I have finally bought my drive: a Pioneer DVR-108 (OEM) with a Manhattan Mercury (Silicon Image chipset based) IDE controller in order for my IDE slots to get expanded by 4. Wares should arrive next Tuesday. I would like to thank:

  • RickTheRed for giving me this link, which got me to buy the Pioneer instead of the NEC too!

  • OC-Freak for its reviews on this link - they let me know Silicon Image chipsets are good for ODD too

  • and finally packetloss for answering my 12 or 13 posts about official bitsetting support for the NEC 3500

Hope my Manhattan Mercury + Pioneer DVR-108 will work well!
