I got mach48 48x12x48x i want 52x

hi!
i got a mach48 burner from pacific digital, and i want to make it 52x but i can’t figure it out. thanks.

What is the current firmware? Are you sure it’s a Lite-ON?

Before I even attempted to research what your drive is capable of I looked at the name of your burner “Mach48” so I immediately assumed that your writer was only capable of burning at 48speed, quite obvious really.

But I investigated further, and was I was completely correct (like any other normal person with a slight bit of common sense)

I’m sure your question is posted on purpose either to take the P**s out of people or you’re totally dumb. Dont believe me? Then check their website out http://www.pacificdigital.com/products/481248ide.htm

Here’s a little excerpt from their site:

The Mach48 writes CD-R (recordable) at the fastest 48x speed, high-speed CD-RW (re-writable) media at the fastest 12x speeds and reads CD-ROMs at 48x speeds.

Research before posting silly posts!!!

hey thanks for calling me dumb, but i did a bit of research, and most of them say max recording 48x, if you have a 32x and you go to the specifications, its going to say MAX recording 32x.

look at this site thats why i posted this.

Lol, where have you been? Research before posting silly posts yourself!!!

You should first backup your drive’s current firmware using mtkflash. Learn how to use mtkflash by reading the guide at the top of this forum. If you do get your firmware backed up, please email it to me: dhc014@firmware-flash.com

It may or may not be possible to upgrade your burner to 52x. I do not think that it will be possible since the firmware version is 5W48. this makes me think that your drive is really a LTR-48125W and this drive is not upgradable. If it was the LTR-48126S then it would be upgradable by flashing with LTR-52246S firmware. The ebay page is false advertisement. Give the seller bad feedback!
