I am experiencing a huge problem. I have recetly bought RIDISC RITEKG04 DVD-R DISKS and all i get is bad results with my ND2500A writer.
I have used 1.07 f/w from the dangerous brothers and Herrie’s beta5 version with DL support. Also i have tried both Nero 6.3.1.17 and Stomp recordnow Max 4.5 with the above firmwares.
I have heard that ritek’s disc are good media that’s why i bought them.
Does anybod have any suggestions?
Thanx in advance.

What kind of “Bad results” are you getting?
What speed are you buring at and where did you buy the ritek media from?
All my G04 DVD-R media worked fine w/ my nec 2500.

I burn them at the original Speed 4x.
When i am trying to play them it freezes during playback.
I bought a 50 pack in Greece

Use Herrie’s beta5 firmware. It has an optimized write strategy for these media. If that does not help, try to burn the disc @2x.
