HP solution center

I have windows 7 and am trying to get my Officejet 6310 to complete my device installation, any ideas? also I have a compatability issue. Everything used to work at one time.


have you tried the drivers and updates from HP support website (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&dlc=en&product=1119598&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN)?
Also try the troubleshooting informaton from there.


The support site will offer you several choices for Solution Center. If you must-use the Compatibility setting in Windows as well. You may have a unit that is “legacy” so this is something to consider. We are using an HP 4570 scanner and Photosmart D7560 printer on our network. The scanner is fully functional, even though it dates back to before 2005. Good luck with the install.

Another possibility if you can’t find a solution at HP (unlikely) is going to Microsoft update and choosing the custom option then looking to see what hardware updates Microsoft updates finds.
