HP Recovery DVD ripping?

Hi, its my first post here, I hope somebody can help me.

I need to make a copy of a DL bad HP Recovery DVD which is full of scratches and stuff to use it to recover my system but it doesn’t seem to move beyond 33%. After using many cd cleaning methods (tooth paste, vaseline, etc…) i could get a full image using DVDFab but the image is less than the actual DVD by a few kbs. i tried dvd decrypter and it didn’t work (always stuck on the 33%) so is it ok to use my image? and any suggestion of software to use to get a true image?

Thanks in advance guys

If it doesn’t have any kind of protection built in, you can use ImgBurn in Read Mode to make your ISO. This also assumes that the disk can be read properly through the scratches. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6379

You might consider taking the disk to a video rental store that has a disk polishing machine. They often times will clean up your disks for a small fee.

You should consider taking the disc to a local video rental and getting it polished.

I have one of those profesional polishing machines and you would be suprised how well it does clean up a disc.
