All the reviews of this drive state that it will ‘BITSET’ but neither CDSPEED or DVDInfoPro will ‘SEE’ this drive and allow for ‘BIT SETTING’ does anybody know what software I need to use to set DVD+R/DL to burn as DVD-ROM?

I am just glad that I purchased this drive mainly for the ‘LightScribe’ feature and not as my main burner…

Newer +R DL discs are set to DVD-ROM automatically. No need to change the bitsetting.

But I also need it for the DVD+R not just for DVD+R/DL…

Why? You could use -R instead, no need for Bitsetting then.

To my knowledge ‘lightscribe’ discs only come in +R format…
